Mathew 5"Mack Raulerson was really the son of James M. Albritton, a military officer in the area around Baxter. Albritton married Fanny Raulerson, but he fathered Mack through Elizabeth, Fanny's sister, who had about six or eight children out of wedlock. She never married and Mack is the only one a record refers to as the father of any of her children.
