Barbara,
I believe the information you found was put together by Paul Tolbird of Monroe, Louisiana. He is not related to the White or Young family that I know of. Some of his information is based on the actual grave markers; some is based on the results of his own research, which he has added to this cemetery reading. I have been in touch with him several times, but he has not chosen to share with me his sources for this information. All of the sources I've found, including census records, a marriage record, Mary Ann "Polly" Young White's widow's pension application, the History of Clayton County, Georgia, and the Garr Genealogy states that she was the wife of Thomas Allen White. There is no indication that she married again. I welcome any information you can found that does confirm that she was the wife of James A. White, but I do believe this is an error.
Thanks! Susan - S Burneson [nimbus@austin.rr.com]
Note: based on the above, I changed Mary's husband's name from James A. White to Thoas Allen White.
