Norma Louise Caples

Mrs. Norma L. Hancock, 69, of Pearland, Texas, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2003. A funeral service will beheld at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2003, at the Oak Park Funeral Home Chapel in Alvin, Texas, with the Rev. Edgar Tanner officiating. Interment will be in the Arcola Cemetery in Fresno, Texas. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2003, at the Froberg Funeral Home Stateroom. Mrs. Hancock was born on November 21, 1933 in West Monroe, Louisiana. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Hancock was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Caples and Mac (McGrew) Caples; and sister, Lorice Storey. Survivors include her husband, Bill Hancock of Pearland; sons & daughters-in-law, James Hancock of Rosharon, Billy & Janet Hancock of Bellaire, Raymond & Cathy Hancock of Sugar Land and Eugene & Kathy Hancock of Rosharon; brother & sister-in-law, Elvin & Beverly Caples of West Monroe, Louisiana; nephew, Billy Ray Shurley & wife, Barbara, of Pearland; six grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. Arrangements are under the direction of Froberg Funeral Home, 115 N. Hill Street, Alvin, Texas 77511.
