Notes

Margaret Rosemond

This is a confusing branch, some have Margaret Rosemond married to Bartholomew J. Weems and some to John Weems.
Child Samuel Weems is usually with Bartholomew Weems and Margaret Rosamond.
Could the husband's name be Bartholomew John Weems?

Message Board Post: > > Goodevening List! I am searching for the family of Ira J. WEEMS (1852- 1936) in the hopes that they may be able to help me solve a mystery about the disapperance of my grandmother Sarah Elizabeth SMITH. A family story says that my uncle Ira J. NELSON is said to be named after him and stayed with Ira J. WEEMS for a while (when and how long is unknown) before he joined the army in 1929. It is thought that Sarah was born in Kaufman Co and did attend the Cottonwood Baptist Ch. I don't know anything about her parents or sibs. I do know that Sarah and my grandpa, Joseph NELSON attended the Cottonwood Bap Ch after they were married ,until he got kicked out. Any help in this part of my family history will be appreciated. Joe Nelson
