Edward Jackson Weems

Note: The Edward Jackson Weems branch spells their name either Weems or Weemes. To simplify I've stayed with the original spelling of Weems.

Edward and Milissie Weems appear to have stayed in Mississippi until their deaths. It is unclear if they died at the same time but they both died between 1893 (birth of their last child) and 1900. Their son Robert J. Weems and his wife of two years, Jennie L. Frost are raising four of Robert's siblings in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana in 1900. The youngest is his 6- year-old sister, Bessie.

In Centre, Attala, Mississippi E. J. Weems lives next door to or with his aunt, Emily Weems Hodge, who probably help to raise him. (See 1880 Census) E. J.
