Funeral services for James E. Lenard will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, October 19, 2001 at the First Baptist Church in Calvin with Rev. Carroll "Booty" Garlington officiating. Graveside services will be held at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Calvin, LA under the direction of Southern Funeral Home. Mr. Lenard, age 82 of Winnfield, LA died Tuesday, October 16, 2001. He was born January 12, 1919. Survivors are two brothers, Lloyd Lenard of Shreveport, LA and Carl Lenard of Monroe, LA; four sons, Monty Lenard of Shreveport, LA, Rodney Lenard of Calvin, LA, Johnny Lenard of Monroe, LA and James Dwight Lenard of Natchitoches, LA; 14 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Mae Lenard of Calvin.
