Linson's widow Elizabeth remained in Jones County for some time after his death and still lived there in 1870.

In 1878 Elizabeth Landrum and her children sold the "Linson Landrum deceased tract." Her son, Maston, was already living in Texas at the time, and he returned to Mississippi to settle the estate.
Elizabeth later moved to Nacogdoches County, Texas, where she married Elijah Shoemake in 1882. They had two sons, Erastus (Rass) and Ransom.


Joseph Landrum Jr.

He was the father of the Fayette County, Georgia Landrums.
Another wife's name: Mary

1774 - 1804 he lived in present Warren County, Georgia, when he and other Landrum families moved to Tombigbee Territory. John, Zachariah, William and Joseph brought their families and settled near St. Stephens, in Washington County, Mississippi Territory (Clarke County, Alabama).

Settled near present Selma, Alabama.
Joseph and his family returned to Warren County, Georgia prior to 1808 and moved to Jackson County in 1808. His planation home was located near the Mulberry Fork of the Oconee River. Six of his children moved to Fayette County shortly after the county was created. Emily Landrum Davis and Jackson Landrum may have remained in Jackson County, Georgia.
