He might be related to Drury Manning. Drury Manning and wife Rebecca came from Catahoula Parish to Colita (Louisiana Settlement)in 1842 which is NW of Livingston, Polk County. Drury and Rebecca had eight children, and the first five were born in Locabar, Catahoula, then the rest in Colita, TX. I wish I could connect your family to Drury, but have been unable to find out who his father was. He was born about 1790 in Montgomery County, GA. - John Mustard and Marjorie Watts Mustard
