Levi Neatherlin Sr.

Neatherlin, Levi TX 2nd Infantry Regiment I

In the Smith Brewer cemetery near Simpson, Louisiana, we (Betty Jean Leigh) found the head stones of Levi Neatherlin. He was the first person buired in this cemetery. Next to him was Isham Neatherlin (have picture of head stone), born 1813, died 4/1870. This head stone with silver facing and another with silver facing were made by Carl Neatherlin who lives in Winnsboro, Louisiana. We also found head stones for Tom W. (born 1863, died 1904) and Louise Neatherlin (born 1865, died 1906) and daughter of Tom & Louise Neatherlin and have pictures of all their headstones.
