Comments: Looking for a Methodist minister from Macon County, AL, moved to Union Par. abt 1840's or 50's. Last name Kelley or Kelly. Had 4 sons & several daughters. Moved to Caldwell Parish after Civil War but back to Union a few years later where he & wife both died. Buried near Downsville. Sons: Albert Ellis, John W., Frank, Isaac; daughters Almeda Elizabeth.

William Kelley moved from South Carolina to Pike County, Alabama by 1839. Note: William is not listed in the 1850 Census for Union Parish, Louisiana. Between 1851 and 1853 he moved with his growing family to Union Parish, Louisiana.
